Guest Policies
To help ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, the following policies apply to all bookings at Abbotswood Motor Inn.
Credit Card & Incidentals
A valid credit or debit card may be required at check-in as security for incidentals and other charges arising during the stay.
Guests are responsible for reasonable costs associated with damage, missing items, excessive or additional cleaning, sanitising, replacement of contaminated items or other costs resulting from the condition in which the room is left.
Where additional charges are identified, Abbotswood Motor Inn may contact the guest regarding payment and provide details of the charges.
Check-in & Check-out
Reception check-in hours are 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Late check-in is available electronically. Guests arriving after reception closes must ensure payment arrangements have been completed so access instructions can be provided.
Pet Policy
Pets are not permitted at Abbotswood Motor Inn.
Guests who bring an unauthorised animal into a guest room may be responsible for any reasonable additional cleaning, sanitising, laundering, deodorising, replacement or damage costs resulting from the animal.
Where an animal has been present in a room, additional cleaning may be required to ensure the room is suitable for future guests, including guests with animal allergies.
No Smoking Policy
All guest rooms at Abbotswood Motor Inn are strictly non-smoking.
This includes cigarettes, cigars, electronic cigarettes, vapes and cannabis.
Guests may be responsible for reasonable additional cleaning, deodorising, laundering, replacement or remediation costs where smoking or vaping has occurred inside a guest room.
Tampering with, covering or disabling smoke detectors is strictly prohibited.
Late Cheeck-out Policy
Standard check-out is 10:00am.
Late check-out is subject to availability and must be approved by Reception.
10:00am to before 12:00pm: $60 per hour or part thereof.
From 12:00pm: One additional night's accommodation.
For example, a checkout at 11:05 will incur a $120 fee.
Payment for an approved late check-out is required prior to the extended check-out time. Where a guest remains in the room beyond their approved check-out time, the applicable late check-out charge may apply.
